Surely everyone knows the Rubert Dumas written books on Richelieu/Jean Bart, the Dunkerque and the 23kton BBs (Bretagne class). In one of the former books there are preliminary desig sketches shown for Richelieu/Clemenceu/Gascoigne and for the planned 45kton class (Alsace).

I wonder if there are similar sketches in the Dunkerque and Bretagne books. Can anybody please who has this book (bgire ?!) check it.

No there is not any preliminary designs in the Dunkerque & Bretagne books. I have heard that there were a series of designs ranging from super Dantons to the Dreadnoughts we know.
