A voté pour le Val qui fit très mal aux américains le 7 décembre 1941, le Swordfish qui fit basculer la guerre à deux reprises et enfin le Skyraider pour son incroyable polyvalence et sa longévité hors norme

L'Avenger "le" camion à bombes de la guerre du Pacifique
à son actif

le Hiyo, le Ryujo, le Yamato, le Musashi, le Chikuma, le Chokaï, Kumano, Suzuya ... et d'autres de nombreux sous-marins, un grand nombre de marchands des raids en Norvège et Indonésie sur le Japon...

La roquette la torpille ASM acoustique et le napalm furent employés pour la première fois sur cet avion
