Norway plans Sea Protector weapon fit for frigate Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace is to supply its Sea Protector remote weapon system for the Royal Norwegian Navy frigate KNM Fridtjof Nansen ahead of a deployment later this year. The company, which is to provide equipment plus integration and logistics services under a contract awarded by Norway's Defence Logistics Organisation, said that Sea Protector will be fully operational on board the frigate "within the third quarter of 2009"
